Deactivated D. Egg 12-bore hammer shotgun **SOLD**

This is a double-barrelled hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction with top-lever breaking and full 30 inch Damascus barrels, made by D. Egg of 4, Pall Mall, London, as marked between the barrels. Durs Egg was a high end gun maker, who amongst others, made guns for King George IV and the Duke of York. This example is in super condition, with cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock, and intricately engraved metalwork, showing a pleasant aged patina.   This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action on both barrels and can be fully stripped.  A fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included to compliment this classic vintage hunting shotgun. More are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered  together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price: £195.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
