Deactivated Colt M16 - A1 Assault Rifle SOLD

This is a Vietnam War era Colt M16-A1 assault rifle, in service from 1963 to the present, it is chambered for the 5.56 x 45mm Nato round. This example dates to the 1970's and is equipped with a 20 round magazine and comes complete with sling. Good complete plastic furniture, no damage to talk of, but a few scatches as would be expected on 40 year old plastics . You are very lucky if you can find these guns without damage to the rather fragile plastic handguards! Deactivated to latest specification with moving trigger, spring-loaded sliding cocking handle and detachable magazine, and a good degree of stripping possible as shown . The inert 5.56mm cartridges are not included but are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at only £1 each. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
