This is a Chinese manufactured Type 56-1 assault rifle, a copy of the legendary Russian Kalashnikov AK47 assault rifle, produced at the height of the 'Cold War'. This example is in fair condition with under-folding butt-stock, and has no doubt seen lot of action in it's life, fitted with the early AK47 type milled receiver, rather than the later pressed steel receiver of the AKM, and also lacking the later muzzle compensator.  Deactivated to latest specification, this rifle has a fully welded action with minimal movement of the trigger and fire-select lever, and some field stripping is still possible. Complete with 2 inert 7.62 rounds to load into the detachable magazine, and leather sling. Cheap and cheerful example of this legendary assault rifle. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
